One day President Theodore Roosevelt went hunting .He saw a small black bear,but he didn't want to shoot it.He asked his men to let the bear go.Then an artist made a cartoon of this story and it became very popular. Later a shopkeeper saw the cartoon,and he had an idea.He and his wife made a toy bear.Then they wrote a letter to President Roosevelt,They wanted to use the Presdent's name and call the bear "Teddy Bear".The President saud yes.So the Teddy Bear came into being in 1902.
一天，西奥多·罗斯福总统去打猎。他看到了一只小黑熊，但是他不想射击它。他让他的手下把熊放了。然后一位画家用这个故事制作了一部卡通片，而且它变得非常受欢迎。后来，一位店主看了这部卡通片，他有了一个主意。他和他妻子制作了一个玩具熊。然后他们写了一封信给罗斯福总统。他们想要用总统的名字叫这熊为“泰迪熊”。总统同意了。所以泰迪熊在1902年产生了。
