C Wenchuan Earthquake

Wenchuan Earthquake is one of the worst natural disasters I have known. It happened in Wenchuan County, Sichuan at 2:28 p. m. on 12 May, 2008. It was rather terrible as it killed about 69,000 people and left about 18,000 missing. It also caused a big loss in people's property and wealth.

The earthquake brought huge pain to the people in Wenchuan. Some couldn't help crying, others chose to be firm and brave. Many soldiers and volunteers rushed to the scene at once and helped save the injured and then helped rebuild Wenchuan.
